It's hard to believe I haven't blogged in over a year but I now realize I missed it terribly. I'm at a crazy ass turning point in my life after losing my job that I absolutely loved. It's tough being a woman in her late thirties with a degree in Poli Sci and trying to find a job. My brother always use to say 'poli sci, why try'. What's sad is that I got my degree in that field because I truly love politics. However in the real world it seems jobs are few and far between for people with that degree. Oh well, I keep searching. It's been an eventful year in that I have lost almost 100 lbs. 90 to be exact but damn it I'm close. I ran/walked my first 5k last week and that was one of the most exhilarating things I've ever done. And I'm ready to do it again. So many things to write about I think I'm going to keep it short today.
